City of Big Rapids & Mecosta Recycles | Big Rapids, MI

The City of Big Rapids, MI, in partnership with the non-profit Mecosta Recycles, is expanding a household battery recycling drop-off program that has outgrown its current capacity after two years of successful operation. The expansion plan adds drop-off locations at additional city facilities and includes community outreach strategies to raise awareness and increase participation.

During NextCycle Michigan, the team will identify opportunities for funding and make connections with potential community partners.
