About Us
NextCycle Michigan is a program that provides free coaching, offers funding pathways, and makes connections to advance material reuse, repair, recycling, and recovery initiatives.
NextCycle Michigan aims to fill gaps in Michigan’s material recycling infrastructure and recovered material end markets.
By filling those gaps and utilizing materials to their highest and best use, Michigan can divert more materials from landfills and reach its 45% recovery rate goal.
LINEAR ECONOMY
CIRCULAR ECONOMY
The program’s foundation is built on collaboration and innovation.
We believe that by supporting new ideas and connecting them with the resources needed to develop and scale, we can attract investment, create more jobs, preserve our natural resources, and strengthen Michigan’s circular economy.
